What were the changes made before the issue started?.I have the Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe problem and I do not have my disk And WALLAH! Problem solved and control panel and all the rest works just fine now! So simple! I hope it works for you, the people who are still struggling with this problem! I found the file in the folder dllcache as shown above, then simply copied and pasted in the system32 folder. But it MUST be in c:\windows\system32 (file there lack of).

I have dd a search on my computer for the file "rundll32.exe" and he came in two different folders on my hard drive. Otherwise you need a windows disk to extend this fichier.* *. If you find it, go ahead and copy rundll32.exe in the c\windows\system32 of the system folder. Someone found a solution to this problem yet? Thanks a lot for any attempt to answer!ĮDIT: I GOT IT! Browsing the internet, I came across this answer:įind a copy of rundll32.exe in the folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache or c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386. You happen to know any other solution for that darn missing file? I can't open all the apps in my control panel! ACK!
